We have reluctantly taken the decision to stop our monthly library drop-off sessions. However we can now accept small amounts at our pop-up events and market stalls. If you have more than a carrier bag full, please get in touch to make alternative arrangements.
We're hoping to send off a batch of bras to Against Breast Cancer before Christmas and we need your help to achieve a target of 10 kg!
- Recycling is also accepted at our Eco-Markets - please see below.
Wasteless Eco-Markets and Repair Cafes
Join us at our friendly Eco-market. As well as Refills and Recycling for Charity, you’ll find local independent stallholders selected for their eco-conscious values. There’ll be planet-friendly upcycled crafts, pre-loved and imaginatively repurposed items which are useful, beautiful or both!
Saturday 7 November 11 am – 3 pm at St John’s Church Hall, Danson Lane, Welling DA16 2BQ – for a spot of early Christmas shopping. We’ll also have swap stalls for second hand books and toys, and a fun eco-friendly raffle in aid of charity.
Thamesmead Repair Cafe – 31 October 1 pm – 4 pm at Thamesmead Sporting Club, Bayliss Avenue, SE28 8NJ
We’re excited to be supporting Thamesmead Repair Cafe – bring along your broken small electrical appliances, torn clothing and be guided by talented fixers in how to repair them. Check the list of what can be repaired at https://www.bexley.gov.uk/services/rubbish-and-recycling/bexleys-repair-cafes/repair-cafe
