Vegan Food Play Set
A fun and unusual present for a vegan toddler, this Vegan Food Play Set features a block of tofu alongside a variety of vegetables, all made from cotton woven on traditional wooden handlooms. From carrots to corn on the cob and even aubergine and chard, the basket is full of colour and is a great way for young children to learn about vegan cooking and eating.
Fair Trade, and coloured using eco-friendly non-toxic dyes, the Vegan Food Play Set makes an ideal companion to a wooden kitchen. At 16 cm square and 10 cm deep (plus handles), the basket is just the right size for little hands - it will probably get used to carry all sorts of things around, so it's fortunate that the whole set can be machine washed at 30 degrees!
This new addition to the Weaving Hope Fair Trade collection was developed in conjuction with our vegan customers. It is handmade by women artisans in Sri Lanka, crafted from handwoven cotton and stuffed with non-allergenic polyester. The set carrieds the CE mark to demonstrate its compliance with toy safety requirements.
